Eaadhar By Unique Identification Authority

Indian Government enrolls its residents via UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) which in turn pursuing this objective via its thousands of aadhar centers established in all parts of the country. Aadhar which is a 12 digit identification number is used to verify not only identity but the address of the candidate as well.
Normally aadhar is issued to the candidate within 90 days from the date of application. However, the applicant can get aadhar in electronic form from the UIDAI website. This aadhar is called e aadhar and is widely popular among people of India. The procedure to get e aadhar is very simple and convenient that anyone who has access to the internet can get the print of e aadhar within few minutes.

How to Get Eaadhar by Unique Identification Authority of India

Step 1 - visit UIDAI web portal

Step 2 - Click Download Aadhar from the heading Get Aadhar heading. Alternatively, you can skip step 1 and directly open this URL in your browser

Step 3 - Now, you have three options to get e aadhar. Either you can enter Aadhar Number, Enrollment ID or Virtual ID. No matter which option you use, you will have to click Send OTP (One Time Password) to receive on your registered mobile number. There is a slight difference in procedure for downloading eaadhar download using aadhar number, enrollment id, and virtual id. Step 4 - Once you enter the OTP on the computer, click Verify & Download button to start downloading the e aadhar.

Now, you can take a print of the downloaded file. It would be acceptable all over India and you will not face any difficulty in any Government department or even in opening a bank account or getting a new mobile phone sim.
